AISG

AISG protocol is used in wireless infrastructure for communication between base station and tower mounted equipment. Signaling is done over RF cable with low frequency carrier that doesn't interfere with high frequency signals. It already has wide installation base and most of newly deployed tower mounted units are able to support it. However, there is neither off the shelf solution for AISG modem nor there is software available for purchase, and various companies are implementing their own custom solution. In order to shorten the design cycle and optimize the cost, we offer to our customers various types of consulting:

  • Hardware modem reference design
  • Embedded processor based system design that incorporates additional functionality
  • Customizable software stack in C for various embedded processors that implements AISG functionality (both 1.1 and 2.0 compatible) and added features, for example control algorithm for dual TMA (DTMA)
